SARAJEVO, October 30, 2013 - Sports journalists from Bosnia and Herzegovina have hosted a regional futsal tournament for journalists for the first time.It was held in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo over three days at the end of October.

National coach Safet Susic and Football federation President Elvedin Begic were on hand for the opening. Both highlighted the part played by Bosnian journalists in the unprecedented success of the national team.They have qualified for the World Cup finals for the first time and are on the way to Brazil.
Inspired by player of the tournament Mirko Bunjevcevic, Serbia won the competition for journalists. With six goals Bunjevcevic was joint leading scorer with Ivan Ivanovic from Montenegro. The host nation were second overall. They beat FYROM, drew with Montenegro, and lost to Serbia.
FYROM, beat Montenegro in the final game to clinch third place.
"It's our pleasure to host our colleagues from Serbia, Montenegro and FYROM." said Emir Delic, President of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Association of Sports journalists.
"This tournament, organized by journalist associations in the Western Balkans has become something of a tradition and we are hosts for the first time"
A forum with the theme "Fight against hooligans in sport" was organized in conjunction with the tournament. Mirsad Kebo, vice-president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina gave the opening speech and AIPS Europe Executive Board member Predrag Milinkovic was also a speaker.
